IN MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED UNCLE RICKY

In Loving memory of Ricky.  A great brother, loving son and terrific uncle. His nieces and nephews love him so much and he was a great uncle to them.  He will be missed more than he will ever know and it is hard to believe that in a time of such joy with Millie being born that we could experience such sorrow as well.  Ricky is such a big part of our family, it just won't be the same without him.  I wish little Millie would have had the chance to meet her uncle Ricky and that he could have met her.  I know his nephew Joshua thought he was awesome!

MILLIE JANE IS FINALLY HERE!

We are so excited to announce the arrival of Millie Jane Burgess!  Big brother Joshua greeting her with ear holding....his favorite comforting thing to do.  He is doing great as a big brother.  Lots of adjustments to get ready for but he is such a good boy.  He helped get Millies' room ready for her too.  We have been waiting to meet this beautiful little girl with a head of black hair, like Tyler. She is a big girl with wonderfully chubby cheeks.  She is amazing and we are so blessed and thankful. 

JOSHUA'S FIRST HAIRCUT AND OTHER FUN STUFF HE DOING

Joshua is in full toddler mode.  He is too funny.  Well Uncle Kris will be so excited to know the mullet is officially gone.  No more "business in the front and party in the back," as Patrick would say.  Aunt Sassy and Uncle Georgie came over to do the honors of the first haircut.  We were so honored to have Sassy cut his hair.  Joshua is now very frequent with his serious face. In fact, we have to have big laughs and do a happy face now.  We will be walking through a store and he will give people the serious face so we have had go over happy face.   He also loves to help finish up cutting his nails when Mommy is finished doing it.  He is too silly and also loves to put clothes on his head. He talks about Millie Jane and how she is cute (he says toot) and how all her clothes are cute.  It is too funny.
