We had an amazing Christmas. It all went by so quickly. We were blessed enough to get to see so many friends and family. Poor Joshua got sick on Christmas day but managed to bounce back a day or so after. We felt so badly for him. We had fun singing many Christmas songs and carols, along with singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. Joshua has gotten pretty good at reciting "Twas The Night Before Christmas." Millie jumped right in singing and has learned so many new words. We are so blessed to have so many people love us and care about us. It has been truly a wonderful Christmas time! These little babies are growing up too quickly and we are trying to take every bit of it in. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! We love you all!

Step into Christmas
We are all having a blast getting ready for Christmas and enjoying the season. We are non-stop Christmas music around our house and any chance we get we are watching, Frosty, Rudolph or The Grinch. I think I have seen those three movies more now in 3 years than I have in my life. We love them though. A few times we have been able to get out and see the Christmas lights. These two are hilarious with their oohs and wows. We have visited the BPS (Bass Pro Shop). We can't say the words unless we are actually going. We are going to try and see Santa soon. Joshua and Millie are making all kinds of cute crafts at school. Joshua also had his Christmas sing-a-long at church and you will see in the pictures that he enjoyed watching his friends participate. It's too funny, when we are at home he is singing and doing all the motions and then he gets up on stage and decides not to do any of them. I also took a picture of all the fun crafts they do at their cute little school. We cannot wait to see friends and family over the holiday. Enjoy
Both Joshua and Millie are getting some HUGE molars...bless. This was the first time MIllie has eaten corn on the cob and loved it just like big brother Joshua. I think both of them enjoyed teething on the cobs.
Here is some artwork from these sweet little babies. If you are wondering what the bottom right thing is, it's Millie's wreath collage. The hand print santa (Joshua's) and hand print reindeer (Millie's) are my favorite.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Well, it's our favorite time of year (minus the cold weather). We actually had snow on Saturday. Crazy. Here are a few pictures of us getting our Christmas tree, decorating it and just some other silly ones. Millie has started mother's day out, or in our case, grandmommy's day out. We were going to just start one day a week until January but Millie loved it so much she is going two days a week and having a blast. These two are getting so big so fast. There will be a Christmas program at their school and Joshua will come home singing songs about Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus. MIllie is talking more and more each day, boy is she spunky. Funny story, we bought MIllie some really cute "riding" boots from target. I put them on her and she wasn't thrilled to have them on but what made things worse was that mommy coudln't zip them up around her little legs. Needless to say, we took them back. We have yet to go see Santa so we will see how that goes. Our plan this week is to get our lights up outside so we can enjoy all the holiday fun. We have already watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer I can't tell you how much, the Grinch is second to that. Like I said we love this time of year!

Aunt Missy's Visit
We were so excited to have Aunt Missy visit this weekend. We had lots and lots of fun. Joshua and Millie were pretty much stuck to her side by the time she had to the leave, it was hilarious and sweet! Also, Lindsey and Natan had their baby shower this past weekend. We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby Shar! I know we will have a lot of good pictures and family time over the Thanksgiving holiday. I am also going to try and upload a video of the Burgess Bunch Band playing "Old MacDonald," on the pots and pans, featuring Joshua on the drums and Millie on the cymbals.

THANKFUL
We are all very excited about Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to having family and friends in town to celebrate. Joshua has been making many wonderful art masterpieces at school with turkey, pumpkins and all of the wonderful things that make us think of Thanksgiving. Most importantly though, he has been talking about all the things he is thankful for. It is too sweet. We have been working on some new meal time blessings and of course some wonderful songs. It is hard right now to keep focus on Thanksgiving with all of the Christmas stuff out, but we are keeping the focus on Thanksgiving right now, even though we get a constant request for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I can only imagine what this holiday season will be like, we are having a blast with these two. By the way, Millie's most common word "poopie" hilarious and she is so proud. Millie is getting bigger each day. She thinks she is as big as Joshua. She does so many funny things. Right now we have 6, that's right 6 passes in her crib. When we put her down to sleep she puts one in her mouth, switches it with another one, rubs one over her face. She'll throw one or two out of the crib and drop one or several behind the crib, so now you can see why we put so many in there. By the way, Maggie Katherine Bragan was born Nov. 4th. She is beautiful and Ella is a great big sister and a natural right off the bat. Congratulations to the Bragan Family.
Turn on your volume. We decided on a Raffi "Thanks A Lot" song for the blog to celebrate the Thanksgiving season.
One of our favorite, not necessarily safe, games. Hide and seek behind the curtains.
Turned the flash off so you guys could see behind the curtain. Too Funny!
Millie is all finished.....
