Super Silly

Again, we just have more and more fun every day.  These little ones are just two peas in a pod. MIllie is becoming so much more active (if you didn't know she was only 6 months she acts like she is ready to hit the ground running) and Joshua is a hoot.  He has been talking for a long time but his vocabulary is truly amazing and cracks us up, not to mention, (they both) amaze us everyday.  Millie is now 6 months old and Joshua turns two on Saturday.
One of the newest things to do is for these two to play in Millies' crib.
Just having a little conversation of their own.  Check out the dark area of Millies bib, she just soaks through it all.

In other words, Joshua is boycotting this picture by turning his back to me.
He would run around naked all the time if he could.
Lola with her morning stretch.  Every morning Joshua greets the dogs in the kitchen and Lola is the only one who will come out of the kitchen to greet the little ones.  She is having a good morning stretch.
A little lovin' for Millie, who squealed with delight a the sight of Lola, Oscar or Milo.Joshua loves to build towers with his puzzle blocks.
A little play time on the pallet.  Dino's always a part of the fun.
Joshua wanted to help Mommy put the vacuum together.  He is a great helper.
He was pretty much ready to bang the part of the vacuum on anything he could think of.  We put an end to that very quickly.

Okay, so there is  a tv show called, "Jack's Big Music Show", Joshua's favorite.  It is a great show and we all love it and most all music we listen to comes from this show.  Anyway, there is a skit with a "wiggle dance"  and both Millie and Joshua love to do the wiggle dance. Notice Millie in her super duper leg warmers.
She's a maniac maniac on the floor........Millie is ready for any workout with her leg warmers...hilarious.
Teeth are killing us.  Poor Millie, she got the Joshua side of teething. Lots and lots of drool. Did we say lots?  We go through bibs like crazy.  I have to try and remember to take them off for pictures sometimes.  Most of Joshua's baby pictures have him wearing a bib because of all the drool.  Anyway, I love this pictures because I have exactly the same one of Joshua doing the same thing at the same age. I will have to find that one and post it too.
First food!  Well, we finally gave Millie her first taste of food, Apples.  At first, it doesn't look like she is really into it, but scroll down and you will see her other reaction.

Just chillin'  propped up in all the right places.
Not sure how to handle the texture.  I think she wanted to play with the spoon more than anything.  She is into grabbing everything.
It looks like Joshua tried the same thing.......
DELICIOUS, as Joshua would say.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's weekend.  Joshua went around wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's.  Of course two balloons were the hit of the weekend.  He loved playing with Grandmommy and the balloons.  Spent some quality time with Amie and Don Don too this weekend.  I will have to get some pictures from Amie and Don Don since I forgot the camera. Millie and Joshua just get closer everyday.  There is rarely a time when Millie or Joshua isn't smiling.  We are going through some "mine," and "have it" issues but just part of the age that we are having to work through and teach sharing.  These guys dote on each other non stop and it melts my heart every time.  They both crack us up all the time.  Enjoy some pictures.  Next time I post I will have some info on Shelby, she is labor as I type!

Festive for Valentine's day!

Joshua loves to "dip it."  He loves to dip all of his food into something. Hot dogs/hamburgers/chicken into ketchup.  Chips into salsa or in this case sour cream.
In action....dipping it.
Fun as always.  It is crazy how much they love each other.
Extreme close up.....Extreme close up.
Tickle..Tickle...Tickle
She really is always like this...one happy little girl.
Cute little Millie loves, loves, loves playing with her toes!  check out those thighs.
Standing back view of the amazing hamstrings.
Her quadriceps are second to none.  She's been doing P90X with mom and dad.
Their own language already plotting against us.
Katie and Joshua had a great night.  He pulled out all the stops.
See..always smiling.
Tickle monster!  It is so hard not to squish her all the time.
Joshua requested that Greg read The Wide Mouth Frog.  He and Katie also had to "Draw something," as Joshua would say. The theme of the night for art was Jungle.  We had some pretty good art work on the magna doodle.

ALMOST TWO AND ALMOST 6 MONTHS

After a rough January of one sickness following the other, we are trying to get together with friends and see more family too.  It is so good to be back in a routine and back at school for Joshua, he loves it.  The other day we did have a little accident off a bicycle where he busted his nose and lip, but he is all better.  We pretty much had cabin fever the whole month of January.  We have a busy month ahead of us for February.  We were able to go visit Great Grandma which I did not get any pictures....she didn't like her hair cut. We got to see Bub  and are looking forward to seeing everyone when we can.  Ella Joys birthday party is coming up so we are all excited about that.  She and Joshua are only 9 days a part.  Joshua's birthday is coming up to and we can't believe he will be two already.  Time passes too quickly. Kris's and Eric's birthday is also coming up and Jack had his already (1 year old).  Shelby is due any day now and we are hoping sooner than later.  Cannot wait to meet the Thompson baby!  This week is suppose to be really nice weather and today it definitely was.  We are looking forward to getting out a little more.  We also have been trying to catch some school basketball games. Which means Millie sits and hangs out while we chase Joshua all over.  It is always a fun time. Looking forward to Joshua's 2nd Valentine's day and Millie's first.  Tyler and I have now been together 15 years! Hanging out before bed time with cookie monster.

Tickle Monster!!
They love on each other all the time.  She adores Joshua and he adores her. My heart melts every time they snuggle, hug and kiss.
All smiles!
A little tummy time with the Triceratops.  Millie is now rolling over too!
Even without the pillow Millie is now sitting up and as you see Joshua joins her any chance he gets.  He says, "Millie sit down right here."  and as he saying that he pats the floor where he wants her to sit.
Still no teeth but Millie is teething like crazy.  We have to wash bibs every night we go through so many during the day.  Just like her brother and daddy....drool buckets.
We love to play with the barn.  Now that Millie can grab things and is a little more mobile Joshua is realizing he is going to have to protect his stuff....it will be very interesting.
MIllie and Daddy sharing a super sweet moment.
Joshua and penny rose watching "Finding Nemo" while PR sports her new "Little Mermaid" pjs.
Being silly in the crib after seeing Millie in hers in her room.
Has to get his ear holds in....even if it means smushing her face.
Millie with Grandmommys wig on.....as Joshua sneaks a sip her drink in the background.  Joshua was calling Grandmommy, Gomimi for a while and still will sometimes.
Posing for a few pitcures for mommy.
Always happy, that's our Millie.
A little sleepy at this point.
