More quality friend and family time!

We are very excited that we have been able to see and spend some quality time with our friends and family.  Last week we were able to eat breakfast with Lindsey and Natan and they told us the most wonderful news....they are expecting.  The baby is due New Year's Eve.  We could not be more excited.  Ashley and Nathan came over for a lunch date (unfortunately mommy forgot to take a single picture).  We had a blast and little Nathan is doing great after his surgery.  He is such a cutie and what a trooper you would never know he had surgery.  The Matteo's are all doing well.  We also saw the Meadows at the zoo.   We had a blast walking around with Steph, Meagan and Patrick.  Again, no camera. What is happening???  We are also very excited that we got to see Will, Georgia and Penny Rose for a little while.  We love getting to hang out with our friends.  Hopefully we will get to see them all again soon!
Just getting close.
Joshua just got finished saying, "Cheese!  Take a picture of me!  Cheese!"
So......... it's been a while huh?
Millie may be one of the most non snuggly babies on the planet, but mommy managed to get some super squishy kisses in. (even though you can see Mil Mil pushing off)
We were playing in Joshua's room and he got on his bed and said he was going night, night. HA! So I got him to "pretend" he was sleeping.  He may be our next soap star.
Do you really have to have the camera on me when I am eating?  Seriously mom.
I am so worn out from snack time I need a short rest on the table.

Hanging out with friends

We think this is a bluebird's nest in one of our ferns.  We are "very excited" as Joshua says to see our baby birds.
Joshua and daddy checking out the eggs.
During volleyball camp, Joy brought Ella over to play with Joshua and Millie while we were running camp.  They had the best time for three days. (Thanks so much Grandmommy too).  Funny story about what Ella is wearing.  I had set out a bubble suit for MIllie to wear and grandmommy thought Joy had brough it for Ella.  Millie is wearing about 12-18 month clothing while Ella (who is 2) is wearing 4T clothes.  When we got home from camp she was struggling to keep what grandmommy had put on her from giving her a big wedgie.  Anyway, we got a great laugh out of that.  Sorry Ella.
Sharing snacks while they were having a snack in the driveway.
Silly.........

Trip to the Zoo, Kris & Mandy's house and being just plain cute!

Well, we are definitely trying to get the most out of our summer.  We had a great trip to the zoo with Ella and Mrs. Joy ( and baby Bragan on the way).  We also had a blast down in Spanish Fort with Kris, Mandy, Eric, Patrick and Kevin ( and TJ and Sunshine).  We love playing the water or anything outside and if we can't get outside playing with toys, reading, coloring and watching "A Bug's Life," "Madagascar," or " Nemo," are what you can find us doing.  Mommy is loving being home with us this summer and we are looking forward to having a lot more fun and many more adventures!  By the way, we added music to our blog.  Turn your volume on if you want to and you can hear the song play.

Millie is having a great time playing with Aunt Mandy, cousin Eric and of course TJ the wonder dog.
Pool time, anytime.  Let's just say Joshua loves the water and when I say loves the water, I mean LOVES, LOVES LOVES playing in the pool!  We played well into the night.
Not sure why he started to scoot on his bummy.  Joshua is a brave little guy he has no fear and just jumps in off the side and off the diving board.
Millie needed to schedule time for a snack.
Millie in her frog float kicking her feet.
Daddy and the kiddos!
Millie getting some "just one of boys" time with Cousins: Eric, Patrick and Kevin.
Just wanted everyone to know that it is definitely not a good idea to jump or dive from this pier.........
Yes, you are seeing correctly.  That is not a log in the water that would be a VERY, VERY large alligator.  That is right your eyes are not deceiving you this alligator was not far from Kris and Mandy's house.  Just a few miles from their house is "alligator ally."  So we were able to snap a few pictures of the natives.  Needless to say while snapping these pictures my bag was open (which Kris told me to close) and one of Joshua's sippy cups and a canister of sunblock fell over the railing. Let's just say its still there.  OOPS!
This is another "little" guy just hanging out.
We also saw this very large alligator gar swimming around hunting for food.
Checking out the gators!  Tight hold on Aunt Mandy's hand!!!!!!
Chillin' with the boys!
Water Baby.
Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming.
Let's just say Uncle Kris showing off his skills with some dives, flips and cannon balls!
Jump again, Jump again.  Joshua's continuous phrase for either jumping off the side or being thrown up in the air and landing in the pool.  Thanks for the reps and quality time Uncle Kris!
Time for a lunch break at the zoo!
When we first got to their house TJ wanted to let everyone to know that Millie was safe as long as he was around.
Millie's snack at the zoo.  By this point she had not had a morning nap, so she was completely hanging in there and such a champ.
Ella, what a cutie!  She was waiting for another water spout to pop up!
Joshua loves the water spouts at the zoo.
Millie will definitely get to play in the water the next time we go.
On the look out for the gorilla!

A quick run through the bamboo after we checked out the wallaby and the kangaroos!
Discussing which one could run faster, them or the kangaroos.
Ella decided to go mining for some gold.
Trying to see the wallaby who was sleeping in his hole.
I put these pictures in all backwards.  This was the beginning of our zoo adventure.
Playing with the matching magnets on the fridge.
Okay, so Joshua plays with these kinds of toys now than when they were "age appropriate"  too funny.  I think that is just the way things work when one wants what the other has.  But he is such a great big brother and shows Millie how it all works.
Second example of using something he never used as an infant.  Too Funny!

Do I want the passi?
the rattle?
Or the sippy?
I love you Millie........I love you Joshua!  Now why do we not have our clothes on????
