SPRING TIME FINALLY HERE!

Hello there everyone! I was finally able to update the blog a little bit. I have been trying to upload a few pictures each night, when the opportunity arises, which is not very often. We are enjoying the beautiful weather and have been able to get outside some. I also included some pictures from special olympics so you can see some of my very special athletes I teach everyday!

This is Alex. He is a senior this year and got to carry the torch for the opening ceremonies.
This is Bryan "BB." He just finished giving the crowd some motivational words. He is also a senior this year.
This is Jennifer and she recited the Special Olympic oath and did a fabulous job! She is also a senior.
Nick did the honors of singing the National Anthem and did a wonderful job, he to is a senior.

This is the whole bunch rip roaring and ready to go! They did such a great job!
Daddy and Millie on our hike at Oak Mtn.
Millie and mommy stop for a pose!
Checking out the scenery and stretch a bit.
These little guys walked almost the entire trail which was about a mile long. They hiked over roots, rocks and up hills. They loved it! Joshua keeps talking about our hike.
We also were able to go the botanical gardens. As you see, Mill Mill sneaking a splash in the fountain, of course after she saw big brother doing it.
They would do this all day if they could.
Big brother leading the way down the trail! What cutie patooties!
Millie getting ready to run and catch up to mommy and Joshua!
Giving us the "look," as if to say..."is this okay?"
Joshua leading the way!

Forget the baby....MIllie wants to play in the water.
Taking a break to enjoy a swing.
HOLLYWOOD! Millie just had to wear her sunglasses, bring her chick-fil-a cow and her baby doll. If she is not stylin' I don't know who is!

Getting ready to watch Toy Story!
Joshua reading MIllie a story. He would read a book to her and then ask her what book she wanted next and get it for her to read another one.

Grandmommy's 70th birthday! Happy Easter!

I know it has taken me forever to update the blog. It has been a little crazy around here lately. Let's see where to begin! Well, Grandmommy turned 70 on the 31st of March so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! All the kids and grandkids surprised her with a party. She was very surprised! We also celebrated a wonderful Easter ( even though we didn't have daddy home). Butler University made it to the final four and then to the finals so since Tyler coached Ronald Nored #5 for Butler, he was able to go and watch him play. Go Butler! Also, mommy had volleyball tryouts this past week so it has been crazy!
Lounging lakeside @ Sassy's.
It is hard to tell but beyond these trees is a HUGE beaver dam!
One of the trees which has become a casualty to the beaver.
Amie and Millie looking for something.
Don Don and Joshua fishing!
Millie finding a golden egg on the Easter egg hunt.
Joshua quickly finds an egg.
On your mark...Get set....Go!
Joshua has always loved butterscotch, the amazingly tired cat. He was explaining the rules with the cat to Mill Mill.
Erin and Sassy!
Mommy Lindsey and Erin! She is adorable! Already standing and so alert to everything!
Another camera!!! Take that! Cutie Patootie!
Happy Easter!
Ronald hitting two clutch free throws to help send Butler to the finals! I wish everyone knew this young man, he is not only an awesome bball player he is an amazing person!
Millie decided to eat the maraca not shake it.
Madi couldn't resist a ride on the John Deer. A funny story about the tractor. Everyone had started to go and play downstairs and Mandy and Kevin were downstairs and he played on the tractor. He said to his mommy, it would be cool to have one of these. Just so we all know. Mandy and Kris gave it to us after having it for years. We all cracked up at that one.
Uncle Bub and Bekah helping Millie with bubbles and Joshua with the fishing pole.

Play ball!
some of the gang chatting it up!

Kevin, Joshua and Millie having a great time.
The babies helping Aunt Missy fill the pinata for grandmommys bday party.
I don't get to catch many of these moments on camera because they always get up by the time I get the camera, so I was pumped to see these pumpkins being so sweet!
Another sweet moment I was trying to get on camera but by the time I got back Millie had gotten down. Joshua was reading her a book!

Uncle Kris is like a playground for these two. They love for him to throw them on the couch. They both will go up to him again and again and old an arm and a leg up for him to throw them.
Taking turns!?!
Joshua having a blast and MIllie not moving on purpose. I know we are all shocked.
finishing up birthday cake.
Seriously.....Mill Mill.
These two couldn't wait to dig into grandmommys cake.
Joshua getting excited for us to bring in the cake.
Millie and mommy listening to the elephant song they so love to hear!
