THANKFUL

We are all very excited about Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to having family and friends in town to celebrate. Joshua has been making many wonderful art masterpieces at school with turkey, pumpkins and all of the wonderful things that make us think of Thanksgiving. Most importantly though, he has been talking about all the things he is thankful for. It is too sweet. We have been working on some new meal time blessings and of course some wonderful songs. It is hard right now to keep focus on Thanksgiving with all of the Christmas stuff out, but we are keeping the focus on Thanksgiving right now, even though we get a constant request for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I can only imagine what this holiday season will be like, we are having a blast with these two. By the way, Millie's most common word "poopie" hilarious and she is so proud. Millie is getting bigger each day. She thinks she is as big as Joshua.  She does so many funny things.  Right now we have 6, that's right 6 passes in her crib.  When we put her down to sleep she puts one in her mouth, switches it with another one, rubs one over her face.  She'll throw one or two out of the crib and drop one or several behind the crib, so now you can see why we put so many in there.  By the way, Maggie Katherine Bragan was born Nov. 4th. She is beautiful and Ella is a great big sister and a natural right off the bat. Congratulations to the Bragan Family.

Turn on your volume. We decided on a Raffi "Thanks A Lot" song for the blog to celebrate the Thanksgiving season.
Just a few of Joshua's amazing projects.  Our fridge is full of Halloween and Thanksgiving artwork.
A proud and blessed daddy.

A proud and blessed mommy, just squish them!
Millie in her stylish outfit....this one's for you Aunt Dawn!

One of our favorite, not necessarily safe, games. Hide and seek behind the curtains.

Turned the flash off so you guys could see behind the curtain.  Too Funny!

Millie is all finished.....

A FEW I LEFT OUT OF THE SLIDE SHOW

The three amigos.
Joshy and grandmommy.
Amie helping Millie out with her duck costume.
Just relaxing with our really cool pumpkins.
I'm one happy little girl.
Joshua being super sweet with little Mill Mill.  Also, if you look closely at Millie's waist you will see a leopard designer belt she absolutely loves.  Oh wait, it is a dog collar that she loves to wear as a belt.  Too funny!

HALLOWEEN 2009

Well, we finally made it. Halloween came and went. We had an amazing time. Today we carved our pumpkins, made sure all of our decorations for set for trick or treating. We drove by Mr. Bobble Head one last time and Joshua was thrilled. We were going to buy the costume for daddy to wear but they were out. Enjoy the slideshow! HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2009!

CHURCH HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL

Ok, so I realize we have not even had halloween yet and we already have so many posts.  I can only imagine what Thanksgiving and Christmas will be like.  We have still been the look out for bobble head spottings.  Wednesday night we went to our church halloween festival.  We had a great time and got to hang out with Georgia, little baby boy in her belly, and Penny Rose.  We also got to see Mrs. Tresa, Mrs. Linda and many classmates all dressed in their halloween best. I had the camera on the wrong setting so I messed up some great shots.  Millie is a bit under the weather and so was grandmommy so they stayed home.  Daddy had a make up football game (yuck) Enjoy!
This is Sarah in Joshua's class, they are big buddies
Joshua, I mean DINO RIDER,  participating in one of the carnival games.
PR and  Joshua in the prize pool.
Okay, so candy is not mommy's favorite but Joshua was truly excited to eat this sucker.  I told him we had to find a seat to sit down while he ate it and he just sat down in the middle of the gym.
The creepy, crawly tunnel was his favorite.  Pretty much a bunch of cardboard boxes made into tunnels.  Figures its their favorite.
The dino is getting a little tired at this point.  I am not talking about Joshua but the actual costume is struggling a little bit after all the action.
Joshua got to try cotton candy.  Wasn't really fond of it. (yippie!)
Mrs. Linda (who we have known and loved forever)  Mrs. Tresa who is one of his teachers this year and Mrs. Linda's daughter-in-law who we also love.
It is total coincidence that while Joshua is eating his popcorn he looks like he has vampire teeth.  Popcorn was probably the highlight of the evening for him.
GA and PR.  Too cute.  She was a kitty cat princess.
I could eat these two up.

The Halloween Lead up..

Well, we are eagerly awaiting Halloween.  We are still driving by to see "bobble head" and when we are in stores going by the Halloween section.  It is too funny.  Joshua also helped mommy decorate, so it is hilarious when he asks if we can decorate more...I think I have created a monster.  I can only imagine what Christmas will be like.  We've also taken some other pictures just for fun.  Enjoy!

Mom, enough with the camera.  Can we just play, please?!
Playing with the pans, who needs other toys?  Millie, had to sit in the cake pan while Joshua sat on the cookie sheet.
Just wanted to play with our hats.
Best buds!
While Joshua was napping (shocker I know), Millie and mommy got to have a little photo shoot of their own.  What a doll.
I love this picture.  She is so serious with the bunny, but so sweet.  Check out those sweet piggies too.
Doesn't mind smiling for the camera.
Mill Mill loves to carry things.  She is so proud.

EXCITEMENT OF HALLOWEEN

We are very excited about Halloween coming up.  Joshua was pretty into it last year but this year he is ALL ABOUT IT.  He talks about it everyday.  In fact, grandmommy drives by one of our halloween stores (after mother's day out) that has characters standing outside so Joshua can wave to them.  There is Gumby, skeletons, ect.  Leave it to our child to love the bobble head grim reaper. That's right, he absolutely loves him.  He loves him so much that we had to tear the page out of a circular in the newspaper with the bobble head on it.  We call it bobble head and leave out the reaper part.  It is too funny.  We ask him what he wants to be, he says a ghost (we told him bobble heads are only for big people).  He really wants to be a ghost, however, at 2 1/2 I feel that putting a sheet or anything like that over a child's face is not the safest nor the most logical thing to do.  We have been looking for other costumes, we pretty sure we found a pretty good dino one. Can't wait to get pictures of that.  Well, Millie is excited about Halloween, Millie is excited about everything all the time.  She is our squealer.  We took them to the halloween store the other day and instead of them looking at the bright colorful stuff, both of our sweet babies go for the most gruesome, nasty monsters, scary clowns ect.  I am definitely glad they are not scared of the stuff but it is truly a sight to see their excitement over all of this.  Millie is going to be a duckling/chick. We borrowed Ella Joy's costume from last year. I cannot wait to show you all pictures once they are all decked out in their costumes.  Millie is walking everywhere it is awesome.  She does her best to keep up with big brother she is talking like a champ (ma-ma, bye- bye, da-da). She also says many other things and we know what she is talking about but the words just aren't there yet, but will be here soon I am sure.  We love these sweet babies so much!

This is a picture of the page Joshua carries around with the bobble head on it.  He has taken it on car rides, to school and to volleyball matches.

This is BOBBLE HEAD.  Can you believe it?  All of the fun cute animals or fun characters out their for babies and this is what Joshua picks to be his favorite.  HILARIOUS!
One night at a volleyball match.  Stacking cones.. this helps because most of the time they want to "play" with mommy while she is coaching.
Headed towards the court.
Who us?
