We finally got a chance to go to the zoo! Joshua had the best time. Millie napped the whole time but that is to be expected. We all had a blast and definitely treasured our time together as a family. They are doing a good job renovating and updating our zoo, still a ways to go but definitely getting better. Enjoy!
We have a new Australian exhibit at the zoo. Joshua enjoyed the bamboo right outside the exhibit.
This is truly when she is happiest, the girl loves her sleep...totally opposite of Joshua who never slept. He does great now though.
Joshua loved driving the tractor and it is precious when he says "tractor."
We saw many unique and exotic animals at the zoo and we were walking across this bridge and Joshua started squealing with delight at the chipmunk he saw. He was more excited about that than anything...of course.
This was a neat part of the Australian exhibit. He could go in this mine and also pan for jewels at the other end. We made many circles through this part. He loved it.
It is hard to tell but he is looking at a wallaby and some kind of neat shingleback lizard.
Millie's snack time at the zoo....the only time she saw anything. She went right back to sleep after this snack.

In the petting section we got to see and touch many animals.
